The frame construction resists weight loads of up to 150 kg and provides durability and a silent workout by means of its double ball-bearings. Thanks to the well-thought out Extended-Motion-Technology, the Kettler crosstrainer UNIX EX offers an extremely flat, elliptical motion despite its compact, space-saving dimensions. The workout on the UNIX EX gets very joint-gentle.

The balance mass of 22 kg and the induction brake system provide a comfortable concentric run on the Kettler UNIX EX. The resistance can be regulated between 25 and 400 watt in 5-watt-increments. The equipment of the Kettler crosstrainer is based on modern technologies. The computer of the UNIX EX offers 48 preset training programs for a varied workout. 2 pulse controlled programs of the Kettler crosstrainer UNIX EX, by which you can adjust your workout to your goals (i.e. stamina training), allow a very successful workout. The heart rate can be measured by integrated hand pulse sensors of the UNIX EX or using an optionally available chest strap.

The UNIX EX is equiped with a user memory for 4 persons. Therefore, different athletes can use the Kettler crosstrainer UNIX EX for exercising and comfortably use their individual workout settings. The cockpit incline can be adjusted so that users of each height get a clear overview on the display. Besides training data as i.e. distance, time, speed, etc., the display of the Kettler UNIX EX offers a graphic display of intensity profil. By means of changing colours of the display background, your are informed when you leave the chosen pulse zone.
By means of its USB-interface, you can connect the Kettler crosstrainer UNIX EX to a pc and exercise with the optionally available Kettler World Tours software. This simulates real tours and helps to analyse your training data. The Kettler crosstrainer UNIX EX is completed by a height compensation for a safe stability on uneven underground and practical transport wheels.
